La Oterito in her dressing room

Miss Oterito is a portrait made by Ignacio Zuloaga in early 1936 in the dressing room (in Spanish: La Oterito in his dressing room). The protagonist of the portrait was the cuplé singer Eulalia Franco, known artistically as La Bella Oterito (not to be confused with La Bella Otero). The painting caused quite a few scandals, which provoked numerous rumors about the relations between both artists. The work is in the hands of the private sector.
