Deposition of Christ from the Cross

The Deposition from the Cross is a fresco by Pietro Lorenzetti, part of the Stories of the Passion of Christ in the left transept of the lower basilica of Saint Francis in Assisi. The cycle can be dated to about 1310-1319.
