Saint Maurice

St. Moritz (Latin Mauritius) of Master Theodoric is probably the first depiction of a black man in Czech painting (1360-1365). On the extraordinary importance of this knight in the concept of the Chapel of St. The crosses are evidenced by the placement of the portrait in the main space of the presbytery in the vicinity of the painting of St. George and the Czech patron Saint Vitus.
