Lunette of the west wall in Niccoline Chapel

Santo Stefano receives the diaconate and distributes alms is a fresco of the Niccolina Chapel, painted in the Apostolic Palace in the Vatican by Beato Angelico and aids (including Benozzo Gozzoli) between about 1447 and 1448. The fresco occupies the lunette of the left wall and from here the Stories of St. Stephen begin.
