Can you say "Zur Geburt der Zikaden"? nn This picture was made a long, long time ago in 1915 by a really talented artist named Paul Klee. He used special pencils to draw all these cool lines and shapes on this big piece of paper. nn What shapes do you see? Can you spot any triangles or circles? What about squiggly lines? nn Paul Klee loved to draw things from nature, like bugs and leaves. Do you think he was trying to draw cicadas coming out of their shells in this picture? nn The lines are different thicknesses, some are thin like a hair, and some are thick like your finger!
