
The portrait of María Eulalia de Borbón y Borbón, Infanta of Spain is a work made in 1895 that is currently preserved in the Cabinet of Drawings and Prints of the Prado Museum. It was executed by the King of Portugal Charles I, [1] being one of the few works of the Portuguese school that has the museum. [2] It comes from the Museum of Modern Art.
The work portrays infanta Eulalia de Borbón, youngest daughter of the Spanish queen Isabel II, with whom the Portuguese monarch was in love before his marriage to Princess Amelia of Orleans in 1886. [3]
