To their right, a skeletal figure of Father Time, with a long beard and holding a scythe, leans on Autumn. A third figure, partially obscured and seemingly emerging from the ground, peeks out from behind Autumn's left side. The background is sparse, with a suggestion of a horizon line. The figures are rendered in a classical style with strong use of shading and line work.
