Madonna with child

The Madonna and Child of the Gallery of Palazzo degli Alberti in Prato is a work attributed to Filippo Lippi (tempera on panel of 27.5x21 cm), datable to about 1436. Since 2010 the work has been transferred to Vicenza, in the collection of the Banca Popolare di Vicenza which purchased the Cassa di Risparmio di Prato. With the acquisition of Popolare Vicenza by Intesa Sanpaolo, in 2017 the paintings returned to Prato.
