View of Slussen is an oil painting by the Swedish artist Sigrid Hjertén from 1919. The painting was purchased by Nationalmuseum in 1936 and later transferred to Moderna Museet's collections. It was loaned to Nationalmuseum after the museum's reopening in 2018.
During the 1910s, Hjertén and her husband Isaac Grünewald had a studio at Stadsgården on Södermalm in Stockholm. From the heights of Söder, she had a view of Slussen and the Old Town. The painting View of Slussen shows, among other things, Riddarholm Church and the yet-to-be-completed Stockholm City Hall.
