Hi everyone, I'm Isabella! Today, we're going to look at a really cool painting called "Abstract Interpretation." It was painted a long, long time ago, in 1925, by an artist named Ilya Bolotowsky. nn Have you ever seen a painting that doesn't look like a picture of a person or a place? That's what we call abstract art! It's all about shapes, colors, and lines. nn What do you see when you first look at this painting?



This painting is like a puzzle made of shapes! See the big yellow circle? It's like the sun, shining bright! And all around it are smaller shapes, like circles, triangles, and squares. They're like little friends playing around the sun. nn What colors do you see? Can you point them out?



Bolotowsky loved using bright and cheerful colors. He outlined all the shapes in black, so they really stand out, like colorful stickers on a page!
