Sleeping Child

Sleeping Child is an 1883 painting by Christian Krohg. It depicts a young child sleeping in a bed, covered with a light-colored blanket. A dark-colored blanket or shawl is draped over a green wooden chair next to the bed. A pair of dark shoes lies on the floor. The setting appears to be a simple bedroom with whitewashed walls. The painting is in the collection of the National Museum of Art, Architecture and Design.
