Title Plate

Title Plate is a work of art created in 1585 by Adriaen Collaert. It's a title page, measuring 20.9 cm wide and 15.1 cm high, from the Emblemata Evangelica. The piece is held in the Prints Department of the Royal Library of Belgium. The artwork is an elaborate engraved design featuring a central cartouche with Latin text surrounded by a decorative border filled with allegorical figures and symbolic objects. The border includes depictions of celestial signs, agricultural tools, musical instruments, and biblical figures.
