Madonna of the Rosary

Our Lady of the Rosary is an oil painting on canvas attributed to Antoon van Dyck. It is kept at the Regional Gallery of palazzo Abatellis in Palermo. It comes from the church of Santa Caterina.

The painting "records gratitude for the cessation of the plague that struck Palermo in 1624" and is among the examples of "high" art used for votive offerings.
