Madonna in the chamber also known as Madonna with Child and Angels is a Gothic painting made around 1450 presumably by artists active in the workshop of the Master of the Holy Barbara Altar, according to recent studies associated with the circle of Wilhelm Kalteysen of Aachen. The painting belongs to valuable works of plaque painting in Silesia, characterized by influences from late Gothic works of Dutch primitivists. The original origin of the painting is unknown. It was first mentioned in the 19th century in the Legnic collection of Alexander von Minutoli. In 1876 it was sold to the Museum Schlesicher Altertümer in Wrocław. Since 1948 it has been owned by Wrocław National Museum.
