
Two Horses (Traditional Chinese: 二馬圖; simplified Chinese: 二马图; pinyin: èrmǎ tú) is a painting of horses in Indian ink on silk, made by the Chinese artist Ren Renfa (1254-1327), of which it is the masterpiece. Metaphorical painting, it refers to the political context and the arrival of the Yuan dynasty, of Mongolian origin, replacing the Song dynasty, in China. It is kept at the Palace Museum in Beijing.
