Philippe de Champaigne - Le vœu de Louis XIII is a 1638 painting measuring 2.68 meters wide and 3.42 meters high. It depicts Louis XIII, King of France, kneeling before the dead Christ, who lies on a rock with the Virgin Mary beside him.  Louis XIII offers Christ a crown.  Above, cherubs float on clouds. The painting is in the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Caen.
