Portrait of Edward Grimston

The Portrait of Edward Grimston is a painting by the early Flemish painter Petrus Christus made in 1446. The work is owned by the Earl of Verulan in Gothambury, a descendant of Edward Grimston, and is on permanent loan at the National Gallery in London. The painting was made the same year as the Portrait of a Carthusian, and is built on the same canvas.
