Dead Christ Worshipped by Saint Dominic of Guzman

The Dead Christ adored by Saint Dominic of Guzman is an oil painting on canvas made in 1623 by the Lombard painter Daniele Crespi for the church of San Protaso in Monachos in Milan, where he remained until 1930, when the building was destroyed by fire. The painting, along with other surviving canvases, was purchased from the preposition of the Basilica of St. John the Baptist in Busto Arsizio, where it is still on display today.
