Altarpiece with the Mother of God and saints

The Altarpiece with the Virgin Mary and Saints is a Gothic work of 1470 attributed to the painter Jaume Huguet.

It is an altarpiece of personal devotion dedicated to the Virgin Mary. A sapientiae silk occupies the central image with a gesture that is very reminiscent of the Virgin Mary of the Altarpiece of the Epiphany, especially the hairstyle and the childish expression of the face of the Virgin so typically Huguetian. The central image is surrounded by two scenes from the cycle of the Passion of Christ and six images of saints.
