Dona

Dona is a work by Joan Miró by the artist on 21 April 1978. It is part of the Collection of the Fundació Joan Miró, and is currently exhibited in the meeting room of the Parliament of Catalonia, thanks to a loan by the foundation on June 1, 1995. On a technical level, it is an acrylic painting and drawing and oil on canvas, of 129.5 × 96.5 centimeters. In the work, the artist uses his usual iconography to draw a woman, primary colors, the star and the silhouette marked in black.

The work presides over the Bureau Room of the Parliament of Catalonia, which was extended during the 6th legislature.
