My name is Isabella, and I will be your guide today through one of our most impressive paintings! nn We're going to look at a painting called "Mary with Child." Now, let's look at the people standing behind Mary. Do you see them? They have wings! nn They are angels, and they are watching over Mary and Jesus. One angel is holding a bright, shining ball. It represents light, like the sun! The other angel has a beautiful flower. nn What kind of flower do you think it is? nn

On the side of the painting, you can see a vase filled with even more flowers! These flowers are called lilies, and they are a symbol of purity and grace. nn The artist used many different shades of gray in this painting. It makes everything look calm and peaceful, don't you think? nn
