Don Carlo is a theatre made by Francesc Soler and Rovirosa in 1870 to prepare the scenography of Verdi's opera of the same name. It is located in the set collection of the Museum of Performing Arts of the Institut del Teatre de Barcelona. It is part of the painter's background, along with drawings, figurines and other archival documents. The small model mounted on wooden sheets and painted in the Barcelona workshop in Soler is an example of the realistic trend of art that permeated theatrical aesthetics at the end of the 19th century.
