Ascension Cathedral in Pereslavl

The Ascension Cathedral in Pereyaslav is a drawing of Shevchenko from the album of 1845 (Sheet 5), made in 1845. On the left below ink the inscription by shevchenko's hand: Voznesensky Cathedral vъ Pereyaslavy (postroenny Getmany Mazepa. 17 v.). On the back at the bottom of the pencil is the inscription: Kathedralna Cerkiéw w Perejasławie fundacyi Jana Mazepy.
