Eva prima Pandora is a painting by the artist Jean Cousin the Elder and one of the major works of the French Renaissance. Painted around 1549-1550, it is now kept in the Louvre Museum. This is perhaps the first nude in the history of French painting that is part of the birth and development in the second half of the sixteenth century of French Mannerism around the School of Fontainebleau. This work is the only work of painting attributed with certainty to the artist Jean Cousin, often confused with his son.
