Winter landscape

"Winter landscape" is a 1908 painting by Jacek Malczewski, part of the National Museum in Warsaw's collection. Measuring 0.812 meters wide and 0.655 meters high, the artwork depicts a snowy landscape with two figures in the foreground.  One figure appears to be a woman, partially draped, standing near a seated, cloaked figure. The background features a muted, pale landscape with bare trees and a distant horizon line. The overall style is impressionistic, with soft brushstrokes and a muted color palette dominated by whites, grays, and muted browns.
