Saint Peter raises Tabitha

Saint Peter raises Tabitha

1611 - Painting - 2.05m x 3.06m

The St. Peter Resurrecting Tabitha is an oil painting on canvas (306×205 cm) by Fabrizio Santafede dating back to 1611 and kept at the Pio Monte della Misericordia in Naples.

The canvas is still preserved today at the same institute for which it was executed, namely the Pio Monte della Misericordia. In addition, it is one of the seven works preserved in the seven minor altars surrounding the main one located in the center of the church which, in turn, preserves the Seven Works of Mercy by Caravaggio.
