Hi everyone, my name is Isabella! Today, we're going to look at a very special painting called Resurrection of Christ. nn This painting is really, really old. It was made about 500 years ago by someone we don't know the name of. Can you imagine making something so beautiful and not putting your name on it? nn --- nn Okay, so what's going on in this picture? Well, it shows us the story of Jesus coming back to life after he died. See, he's standing on a cloud, way up high! nn He's holding a flag with a red cross on it. What do you think that cross means? nn --- nn The way the artist used light in this painting is super cool. See how bright Jesus is? It's like he's glowing! And the light shines on the clouds around him too. But down below, where the people are, it's darker. Why do you think the artist did that? nn --- nn Look at the people standing around Jesus' tomb. Some of them are soldiers, and they look kind of scared, don't they? Can you blame them? They just saw someone come back to life! nn --- nn In the background, there are hills and trees and a path.
