The Distribution of Alms and Death of Ananias

The Distribution of Alms and the Death of Anania is a fresco by Masaccio that is part of the decoration of the Brancacci Chapel in the church of Santa Maria del Carmine in Florence. The work, dated around 1425-1428 (230 × 170 cm), depicts a scene from the Stories of St. Peter from the Acts of the Apostles (IV, 34-35 and V, 1-5).
