Two Girls at the Well

Die zwei Mädchen am Brunnen is the title of a two-figure allegory by the painter Eduard Bendemann from 1833. As a representation of an ideal of friendship, the romantic painting became one of the most reproduced motifs of the Düsseldorf School of Painting.
