The artwork The Drunken Silenus ("The Tazza Farnese") is a print created by Hendrick Goltzius in 1597. It is currently in the collection of the National Gallery of Art.
The print depicts a scene with the drunken Silenus, a mythological figure associated with wine and revelry. Silenus, depicted as a large, bearded man, lies sprawled on his back within a circular frame formed by a grapevine. He appears to be unconscious or in a drunken stupor. Two satyrs, one holding a bunch of grapes and the other a wineskin, flank him. Two putti, perched on the grapevine, complete the composition. The scene is rendered with fine detail and a sense of movement, capturing the energy of a bacchanalian celebration.
