
The Head of Christ is a painting attributed to the Flemish painter Petrus Christus (c. 1410-1475/1476). Made in 1444 or 1446, it represents the head of Jesus Christ, painted on parchment placed on panel 14.9 × 10.8 cm. It was bequeathed to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York in 1959 by Lillian S. Timken. It is currently on display in this museum.
