Saint Peter

Saint Peter is a painting by the Spanish painter Dominicus Theotocopulos, known as El Greco.

El Greco made three series of thirteen paintings under the common name Apostles, also known as the Henke Apostles series, the Almadrones apostolate series and the San Feliz apostolate series, and two unpreserved series of apostles from the Cathedral of Toledo and the Museo del Greco, and several individual portraits of the apostles. In the first three versions, the characters were presented from half up, in the next two in three-quarters of the characters.
