Saturn

Saturn, a work of art created in 1585 by Philip Galle. This engraving depicts a muscular, nude male figure, Saturn, holding a sickle in his raised left hand and a small child in his right arm. Saturn stands on a pedestal, which is inscribed with text. The background is a hatched pattern. The artwork is part of the Prints Department collection at the Royal Library of Belgium. The dimensions are 0.163 meters wide and 0.282 meters high.
