Lamentation of Christ

Weeping for the Dead Christ (or Piety) is a painting by the Italian painter Giovanni Antonio Bazzi, better known as The Sodom made in oil on panel, and later transferred to a canvas. Measuring 87 cm high by 111.5 cm wide, it is presumed that it was painted in 1533, it belongs to the collection of the Soumaya Museum of Mexico City.
