In the High Mountains

Hi everyone, my name is Isabella! Today, we're going to be explorers on a wild adventure through a painting called "In the High Mountains." Are you ready to climb? nn This painting is like a window into a really, really big mountain range. See how tall those mountains are? I bet they go right up to the clouds! The tippy-tops are covered in white, sparkly snow. Can you almost feel how cold it must be up there? nn Now, look down here at the bottom of the mountains. Do you see the green and brown colors? That's where trees and plants grow. Maybe even some animals live there too! What kind of animals do you think we might find in the high mountains? nn The artist who painted this used special brushstrokes to make the mountains look big and strong. And look at the colors – mostly blues, grays, and browns. They make the mountains seem calm and peaceful, don't they? nn "In the High Mountains" reminds us how amazing and powerful nature can be.
