Reconnaissance on horseback

Horse Reconnaissance is an oil painting painted by the Polish painter Wojciech Kossak in 1932, in the collection of the National Museum in Warsaw.

The painting depicts Polish cavalrymen in the process of reconnaissance; the central figure is an uhlan on a tree looking through binoculars.
