The Last Supper of Emmaus, also known as The Mulatto and Kitchen Scene with the Last Supper of Emmaus (in Spanish, La cena de Emaús (La mulata), is a painting attributed to Diego Velázquez who is said to have painted it during his first Sevillian stage, before 1623. Critics disagree on the date of its execution: some place it around 1617-1618, which in this case would make it one of the first known works of the painter; others prefer to delay it around 1620-1622. The painting has been in the National Gallery of Ireland in Dublin since 1987, where it entered thanks to a bequest from Alfred Beit.
