Harry Stratford Caldecott (known as Strat Caldecott; 1886—1929) was a South African painter who received his training in Paris and became a leading exponent of Impressionism. He created landscapes full of light and atmosphere. His wife, the British-born Florence Zerffi (1882—1962), was also a notable painter of mainly stilllife.
