The wine tasting

The wine tasting is the title of a genre painting by the painter Johann Peter Hasenclever. The painting was created in Düsseldorf in 1843 and belongs to the collection of the Alte Nationalgalerie in Berlin. It shows a group of older wine connoisseurs at a wine tasting. Because of the success, the artist painted further versions of the motif over a longer period of time.
