Sleeping woman

La baigneuse endormie is a painting by the French painter Pierre-Auguste Renoir, painted in circa 1897, oil on canvas, 82 x 66 centimeters in size. It is probably a nude portrait of opera singer Amélie Diéterle, who owned the painting until 1920. Renoir's nanny Gabrielle Renard is also mentioned as a model. It now belongs to the collection of the Museum Oskar Reinhart in Winterthur.
