The Consecration of St. Lawrence as a Deacon by Sixtus II is a fresco in the Nicoline Chapel, decorated in the Apostolic Palace of the Vatican by Fra Angelico and aides (including Benozzo Gozzoli) between about 1447 and 1448. The fresco occupies the location between two windows of the central register of the left wall and is the first episode of the Histories of Saint Lawrence.
