
Carlos II con armadura (english : Charles II in armor ) is a 1681 oil painting of King Charles II of Spain by the Spanish painter Juan Carreño de Miranda (1614 – 1685). The large number of artists under the control of Charles II meant that he may have been in possession of one of the largest collections in Europe. This painting was originally in a room of the Palace of the Escorial. Today it belongs to the Prado Museum of Madrid with the census number P07101.
