The artwork The Fall of Man is a painting created in 1549. It is currently held at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. The painting, measuring 0.171 meters in width and 0.217 meters in height, is by Lucas Cranach the Younger.

The painting depicts the biblical scene of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. They stand on either side of the Tree of Knowledge, with Adam on the left and Eve on the right. A serpent with a human-like head is entwined around the tree, offering Eve a red apple. Both Adam and Eve are nude, with Eve holding the apple in one hand and a branch in the other, while Adam reaches out towards her. The background features a lush landscape populated with various animals, including deer, rabbits, and birds. The artist's signature and the date of creation, "1549," are subtly inscribed on the tree trunk.
