
Truc Lam the great painter paints (Chinese: 竹林大士出山圖) is the title of a book on paper including watercolor paintings combining the art of calligraphy, and depicting the scene of Truc Lam the great (i.e. Tran Nhan Tong) from yulin cave×. which includes a painting 316×28 cm wide.
In 1922, the painting was secretly taken out by emperor Puyi and remained in exile until 1949 and stored in the Liaoning Museum, Shenyang City. Until April 2012 what was known about the painting was still only descriptions, Take notes on the text. In April 2012, during an auction, the restoration of the painting sold for $1.8 million.
