The Massacres of the Triumvirate

The Massacre of the Triumvirs (1562) is a painting long attributed to the French Mannerist painter Antoine Caron. It has been in the collections of the Musée de Beauvais since 1945. Since then, the painting has been attributed to Nicolò dell'Abbate.
