Kyrgyz

Kyrgyzstan is a painting by the Polish painter Aleksander Orłowski from 1809, located in the Gallery of Polish Art 1800-1945 of the Silesian Museum in Katowice.

The painter painted a genre scene in 1809. In the foreground there are two Kyrgyz riders. The upper half of the image is occupied by the sky with clouds. The painting with dimensions of 68.5 x 52.5 cm is signed in the lower left corner: A. Orłowski. The Silesian Museum in Katowice bought the painting in Abraham Stieglitz's antique shop in Krakow in 1934. Museum inventory number: MŚK/SzM/439.
