The Apostle Bartholomew (Paul)

Saint Bartholomew is a painting by the Spanish painter Dominicus Theotocopulos, known as El Greco.

The portrait of Bartholomew the Apostle of the Prado belonged to a cycle called Apostolados, although it is not identified with any of the known cycles. It is known that one of the preserved versions came from Arteche, its storage location is unknown.
