Tejuca

Hi everyone! My name is Isabella, and I'm so excited to show you a really cool drawing today! It's called "Tejuca," and it's by an artist named Charles Landseer. Look at it carefully. This drawing is pretty small, but it shows us a HUGE mountain range! See how tall and pointy the mountains are? The artist used lots and lots of tiny lines to make them look so real. It's like he's building the mountains with his pencil strokes! Can you see all the lines? They're close together, right? That makes the mountains look strong and solid. Look closely at the top of the mountains. Do you see a lighter area? It looks a little bit like clouds or maybe mist. That makes the mountains look even more mysterious and far away. The artist didn't use lots of bright colors. He mostly used browns, grays, and beiges. But even with these quiet colors, the drawing is still very interesting, isn't it? It makes us feel calm and maybe a little bit thoughtful. What kind of feeling does this drawing give you? nn
