Roman landscape

Roman Landscape is a painting on panel made by Enrique Serra Auqué in 1888, and preserved in the Víctor Balaguer Library Museum, with registration number 177. She entered the museum on November 26, 1888, donated to the museum by the artist himself. It depicts a Roman landscape at sunset. The lower two-thirds of the composition represent a lake enveloped in thickets and tree trunks. In the center of the left side is a boat. The painting has the inscription "Enrique Serra"; "1888"; "To the eminent poet and illustrious statesman/Hon. Mr. Víctor Balaguer/Enrique Serra 1888.".
