Landscape by the sea is a monotype painting in oil and pastel color on paper (27x36 cm) made in about 1892 by the French painter Edgar Degas. It is kept in the Musée d'art et d'histoire in Neuchâtel.
Landscapes are rare among the works of Degas, the artist, in fact, preferred to paint human people.
The painting was exhibited at a solo exhibition in 1892, at the Durad-Ruel gallery.
